The hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin), also known as the 'stinkbird,' is a species of tropical bird found in swamps, riparian forests, and mangroves of the Amazon.
It is notable for claws on two of their wing digits; its unusual diet of leaves only; and for its smell. T
he bird's constant 'excrement smell' is reportedly one of the ' foulest' in the animal kingdom.
