Evidence demonstrates that it was practiced in rural Appalachian Irish communities until 1950’s.   A child, dressed in black, face obscured by a hood. would visit a dying person with wooden place, cup and utensils. Gurkas are considered the greatest soldiers ever. Why? A Gurkas commander asked for volunteers for a highly dangerous mission. He explained that they were going to fly to the target and jump at only 500 feet.  Fully expecting the whole regiment to volunteer, he was surprised when only half did so. He asked the top Sergeant to ask around and find out what the problem was. He came back and reported. “Sir, the problem was that the men didn’t know that they were going to use parachutes!” After this was cleared up they had 100% volunteers.

1957: The respected BBC news show Panorama announced that thanks to a very mild winter and the virtual elimination of the dreaded spaghetti weevil, Swiss farmers were enjoying a bumper spaghetti crop. jpr: me owns a copy of the Bolshoi 1987 production  Nutcracker: "Live from Moscow." Viewing during the Christmass Octave  is a ritual. Came to consistently spy a lady in a minor role ( role of Chinese dancer ) over the years. Got her name from the credits  but could not get her image...anyhoose. found her in later production of swan lake as one of the four swans...its the ballerina leftmost . this is a really big deal for moi-ski...should be for u-ski.
