Jpr: was viewing a 1948 movie (B western) named "Grand Canyon Trail" when the heroine appeared as the screen captures show. This actress wears the same style of dress, and hair as me ma. She shares the same figure and facial look as me ma. These pics show the mother I recall most fondly.

EHD killing large number of deer

EHD is a viral disease of white-tailed deer that is transmitted by the biting midge in the family Culicoi\  These insects breed in static pools of water in late summer It can not be passed from deer to deer or be transferred to humans or other animals. All deer, any age, male or female, can get infected with the disease. It causes a high fever and extreme hemorrhaging in deer. The animal usually dies with 5 -10 days.

jpr: remember one eve when ma was searching all about the kitchen for a freshly prepared roast. She found the remains under the table with her puppy!
