Morning Rain by Tu Fu

A slight rain comes, bathed in dawn light.
I hear it among treetop leaves before mist
Arrives. Soon it sprinkles the soil and,
Windblown, follows clouds away. Deepened

Colors grace thatch homes for a moment.
Flocks and herds of things wild glisten
Faintly. Then the scent of musk opens across

 I was at the bar the other night and overheard three very hefty women talking at the bar. 

Their accent appeared to be Scottish, so I approached and asked,

"Hello, are you three lassies from Scotland?"

One of them angrily screeched,

"It's Wales, Wales you bloody idiot!"

So I apologized and replied,

"I am so sorry.

Are you three whales from Scotland?”

And that's the last thing I remember.

Humans Inhabited Ireland longer than believed.

Butchering marks on a bear bone discovered in 1903, but just reanalyzed has been dated to 12,500 years ago.  Further examination proves the marks were made when the bone was fresh.  The find is the first proof that humans inhabited Ireland during the Paleolithic Era.  Previous findings demonstrate the oldest evidence of human occupation dates to 8,000 years ago.
