Freddy McConnell is surgically a transgender man, biologically a female at birth.  A single parent, he got pregnant and gave birth after he had legally become a man but before surgical alterations.  He has filed suit to be officially registered as the child’s ’father.’ The law requires that a person who carries and gives birth to a baby is legally a ‘mother.’  He argues the law is discriminatory. Sometimes this stuff just defies common sense

• Cowboys didn’t wear gun belts, guns were worn under clothing.

The Irish make an art of 'holding a grudge.'

Three men have been arrested and a number of weapons seized following a disturbance at a funeral service in Strabane, County Tyron.   The men, aged 22, 32 and 17, were arrested following the service at a church. Weapons included Stanley knives, axes, hatchets and swords.  Somebody pissed somebody off.

The peak in trading last Friday is from funds mangers buying into apple at 3O% discount. If the price per share drops much more in future then the managers will buy more thus averaging down their cost.
