Nostalgia

    those were great actors from great days as a kid. Jay Silverheels (tonto) wrote poetry in later life. I have not been able to find any though.

    don't know about silverheels but the ranger wrote a couple of poems. his most popular was
    "dunt ta da da dunt dunt dunt" a work of 30 verse or so.

    I would be taking my kids in the car and whenever the william tell overture came on the radio, I'd go crazy, acting like I was losing control or the car, acting like i was speeding hell bent, and of course when they were younger I pulled the one-closed eye ruse "look guys i'm driving with my eyes closed. those were some of the best days of my life. My kids haven't spoken to me in 17 years.

    I memorized the ranger's poem for my hs play and can recite it from memory today...a good bit of it any way.
