Nostalgia

  1. those were great actors from great days as a kid. Jay Silverheels (tonto) wrote poetry in later life. I have not been able to find any though.

  2. don't know about silverheels but the ranger wrote a couple of poems. his most popular was
    "dunt ta da da dunt dunt dunt" a work of 30 verse or so.

I would be taking my kids in the car and whenever the william tell overture came on the radio, I'd go crazy, acting like I was losing control or the car, acting like i was speeding hell bent, and of course when they were younger I pulled the one-closed eye ruse "look guys i'm driving with my eyes closed. those were some of the best days of my life. My kids haven't spoken to me in 17 years.

  4. I memorized the ranger's poem for my hs play and can recite it from memory today...a good bit of it any way.
