Poison Ivy...some old treatments
Apple Cider Vinegar or Rubbing Alcohol is an amazing homemade remedy for Poison Ivy. Apply cider or alcohol liberally to the affected areas. Do this several times a day, and soon your rash should disappear.
It's also an old saying that rubbing the inside of a banana peel on the rash two or three times a day will help clear it up too.
Also soaking in a bath tub with tea leaves is siad to help.
An estimated 10 to 50 million Americans suffer from Poison Ivy annually.
jpr: it comes in many shades and sizes but always with 3-leaves

1991 - Frank Layden, Utah Jazz president, on a former player: "I told him, 'Son, what is it with you. Is it ignorance or apathy?' He said, 'Coach, I don't know and I don't care.' "

Remember this person? He attended my wedding (#1)
Here's a caricature I drew of a friend in Boot Camp (1971). He also attended my wedding that same year. From Brooklyn; a math major (NYU); very funny man. Our Company Commander liked to use the expression "zilch point shit" as a way of letting us know the odds of something good happening to us that particular day, e.g. "smoke break?" chances are exactly "zilch point shit", etc. As a mathematician this expression opened up an entirely new and somewhat bizarre field of mathematical study.

Going to Heaven! by Emily Dickinson
Going to Heaven!
I don't know when --
Pray do not ask me how!
Indeed I'm too astonished
To think of answering you!
Going to Heaven!
How dim it sounds!
And yet it will be done
As sure as flocks go home at night
Unto the Shepherd's arm!
