The swept wing capsule (upper left) carries cargo (humans later) both ways wrt space. The 1st stage booster (upper right) is designed to land softly on a  drone ship (below) with use of control fins. The recent test 1.10.15 failed as the hydrolic fluid  to the fins failed and the landing was hard.
