France --- world power?
The French hold themselves out to be a world power and the center of the intellectual world. despite their many 'shortcomings and failures.' Accordingly, they are frequently the butt of 'French Jokes.' Well they have done it again, ordering 2,000 trians at billions of Euros, only to find out on delivery that the trains are too wide to get into more than 300 stations. World power --- hummmmm.

Gov't Prepares For Zombie Plague -- no kidding
Add caption |
The zombie plague is taking over the world, the world of popular culture that is. But what would happen if the fictional illness became more fact than fiction? According to Foreign Policy magazine, the Pentagon has a plan called CONOP 8888, or a zombie survival plan that will "preserve the sanctity of human life" among all "non-zombie humans." CONOP 8888 is the guide to battling the undead, and not only the flesh-eating human varieties but even those difficult-to-kill "evil magic zombies." The Department of Defense calls the zombie apocalypse plan "fictional contingency planning guidance" used to train military planners and came up with the title of "Counter Zombie Dominance." The government insists its all fictional, but I wonder …….

Ever Wonder...Now that North Korea has called Obama a "monkey"...
if Dennis is still best buds with Kim Yung Un? |
and wonder how Dennis and Kim get hooked up in the first place? Is Madonna the common denominator? Also wonder why oliver-sudden there is a hoopla about gay sports figures, when Mr Rodman (whatever his inklings might be) went publicly in Drag many times, years ago. Once wore a white wedding dress -long train et al) to some event. His stylist was maybe madonna or lady gaga or something.

to all you gals, girls, senoritas, mademoiselles, and Sarah Lawrence sophomores, here's an important message.
Researchers seem determined to show a connection between cell phone usage and male impotency. FYI - I don't own a cell phone; wink wink.

I'm in love with a man...
...sort of. Javier Bardem's acting is multi bene. His profile is other-worldly. I'm going to email him and see if he'll be my prom date. Check out the movie "the Dancer Upstairs" Truthfully his profile is not that different from JP's "been to the wars" look. JP got his look the hard way.
Is this the way he was born? |

Lily of the Valley ...the good luck birth month flower of May
The Lily of the Valley differs from the Easter lily that might be pictured when hearing this flower's name. The Lily of the Valley is actually signified by its large, basil shaped leaves with pretty clusters of white bell shaped blooms drooping towards the earth like falling tears. It is thought that this flower has some medicinal benefits like enhancing memory, or improving speech; however, all parts of this flower are poisonous and could create great illness or paralysis when ingested. As the good luck birth month flower of May, the Lily of the Valley signifies a return to happiness marked by a legend of a nightingale that does not return until May when the flower blooms.

Simple Debunk
It's interesting how the media speak of the pressures of the Presidency and how the office holder ages so much from it. Most people seem to accept this cause and effect shitment. A man becomes president at, say 64, serves 8 years, is 72 years old when he leaves the job. Gosh, do none of us civilians normally age over 8 years time, enough to see the difference!
TV Production Companies: Network and Cable
There are over 70 such production companies mostly in Ca, and Ny. Many are now engaged in productions to be internet streamed.

the cost of illegally downloading movies
Voltage Pictures, the studio behind 2009's The Hurt Locker, is suing almost 25,000 BitTorrent users who allegedly illegally downloaded the flick. That came just weeks after 23,000 were sued for downloading The Expendables, produced by Nu Image.
Many Plaintiff's letter will state that you are liable for up to $150,000 in damages and the Plaintiff’s attorneys fees. Typical damages for copyright actually range from $750 to $30,000, and to get damages between $30,000 and $150,000 a Plaintiff is required to produce a very strong showing of “intent” on your part. That said, it is true that copyright lawsuits can be expensive for both damages and attorneys fees. Out of court settlement will probably cost between $500-$5,000. These are civil not criminal charges.
jpr: One student faces such a $150,000 law suit which will default in Plaintiff's if he does not respond after 6 months. Some motivation by the producers is that such law suits will net more $$$ than the film actually grossed in the theaters. Be Careful ya'll.
