fly swatting

The flight range of house flies is ~ 7 km with a life expectancy of 1-2 weeks.

jpr: these days when i walk my dog in the fields I carry one of the above to swat (gently) flies off "my boy's" back!

    here's an idea - there are thousands of 5k runs across the us. let's make them 7k +a fly, and see how much that improves our cookouts! I went to college so these brainstorms are easy for me.
