Isabel met an enormous bear,
Isabel, Isabel, didn't care;
The bear was hungry, the bear was ravenous,
The bear's big mouth was cruel and cavernous.
The bear said, Isabel, glad to meet you,
How do, Isabel, now I'll eat you!
Isabel, Isabel, didn't worry.
Isabel didn't scream or scurry.
She washed her hands and she straightened her hair up,
Then Isabel quietly ate the bear up.

I would like to know how it came about that Isabel ate the bear. Did she have a weapon? Did she poison the bear? Did she bore the bear to death with doggerel? How does she know that the bear is ok to eat? Did she have a camp stove that could handle all that meat? Did she use plain salt and pepper or did she go all out and add more exotic seasonings? Potatoes or veggies, or both? What wine goes with bear? Is it still illegal to eat baby bears? Davey Crockett kilt him a bar when he was only 3; how old is Isabel?
