Here we go again.


Vatican Police , responding to neighbor complaints, found widespread drug-use and men engaged in homosexual activity (described as an 'orgy') during the bust at the home owned by the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.  Among its duties, the congregation guides the Church's response to clerical sexual abuse cases. The secretary of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, an occupant of the apartment, was arrested after being hospitalized for detox,  Coccopalmerio, serves as president of the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts is said to have recently recommended his secretary for a promotion to bishop despite the man’s previous drug arrest and two overdoses.

  1. here's my humble opinion:
    this will get me into trouble but I am trying to be honest: the Catholic Church, the Community of Believers that goes back thousands of years in an unbroken spiritual line, and the place where I hang my mystical hat; is doomed if they do not transfer the beliefs and practices to something that does not involve priests. We need to divorce priests from Catholicism. Now. Lock out priests!

  2. There needs to be a community of the lay faithful to review the conduct of the clergy from cardinals downward and recommended ordination of senior men as well!
