Debundscha, a Southwest Region of Cameroon, is said to be the wettest part of Africa. The town receives approximately 411.9 inches.

Cherrapunji, a village, in the Meghalaya state, northeastern India. Is the wettest place in Asia with 450 inches annually and holds the world record for one year of rainfall at 1042 inches.
