Otsi is a well-preserved natural mummy of a 45 year man who lived about 3,300 BC probably in southern Europe.
The mummy, wearing sophisticated clothes, had several tattoos, was found in September 1991 in the Ă–tztal Alps on the border between Austria and Italy. He is Europe's oldest natural human mummy and died from injuries received from an arrow wound. His face has been reconstructed twice, with the 2011 employing new technology.
