The mystery of bright orbis moving through the night sky have been noted by and baffled mankind for centuries. UFO's according to many, these events are frequently observed before earthquakes. A chance observation by physicists have debunked the urban legend. Researchers noticed that by shifting a simple box of common flour they could produce an electric charge by friction. Voila..... shifting dirt, sand and similar substances in the earth preliminary to earthquakes produce electricity discharging into the air. Such shifting can occur without a followup earthquake producing similar phenomena.
