    Alitz's "sauce" for chicken and beef
    aka Armenian ketchup:

    8-10 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed with the heel of your hand
    salt

    Place garlic cloves in mortar and pestle (wood is best). Smush, smear, crush and push cloves, adding salt little by little until a paste is formed. Use liberally with any and all food.
