One of the BBC’ s most serious television news programs broadcast a feature reporting on the successful spaghetti harvest in Switzerland accompanied by video of the ‘strands’ growing on trees, being harvested by local workmen. The stunt fooled many including the head of the BBC and Jay and I as kids.
