The Tay River at Dunkeld, Scotland just around the bend are the ruins of 8th century Dunkeld Cathederal, the center of Christianty in Scotland at that time and the home of the relics of St Columbia (Irish) until the Reformation. A simple hut church was known on this spot in the 5th century, and a Pick monestary stood on the grounds long before Christianty arrived. The most spirtual place I have ever been.
