There's something special about the Scots and their cousins the Irish. Both countries have loads of small villages and island communities far from 'civilization' and the advantages of modern life. But in both places private non profit organizations built mobile movie theaters that travel the rural roads bringing current films to the isolated populations. The trucks unfold into 80 seat modern theaters. The Scot one serves 30 communities, including places with less than 100 residents. America could learn a lesson
