Patriarch or Pope
The Greek word 'patriarch' means king or leader. The leading bishop or head of each of the orthodox catholic churches is called the patriarch, or is some cases pope or patriarch pope. While open to debate, most experts recognize six major orthodox churches including the the Greek and Russian, the two largest. There are other 'minor' orthodox churches like the Armenian.
