famous double eagle

Professional golfers who have hit an albatross a score three-under-par on a single hole, in professional play. This can be done with a hole-in-one on a par-4, two shots on a par-5.

Gene Sarazen (1935 Masters) with his 4-wood from 235 yards on the 15th hole in the fourth round. It flew straight  and found the cup for the rarest one of all – a double eagle – a 2 on a par-5 hole!

jpr: Mikey surely has had a close call on an eagle.
