Mpho' Gift Ngoepe

 (born 18 January 1990) is a South African professional baseball shortstop and second baseman for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB).

 the man spent 9 years in AAA baseball. last eve he made is debut in Pittsburgh against the world champion Chicago Cubs.. Hit a single his first  time at bat to the cheers of all the players and fans. His mother was the cleaning lady for a club baseball team near Johannesburg and as young boy watched the team for years.
