The voice of Assisi

Alessandro Brustenghi, born in Assisi and known as Friar Alessandro or Brother Alessandro (in English), is an Italian Franciscan and a tenor singer of religious music.  Thirty eight, he started playing music when he was 9.  At 21, he joined the Franciscan order and worked as a carpenter.  He has recorded several religious albums of both traditional and contemporary music.  Worth a listen
