Repel Mosquitoes

I read that if you took a sheet of Fabric Softener and put it in your pocket, insects would leave you alone.  I tried it the other night, sat on the patio, and wouldn't you know it 

- I was pestered by a bunch of fluffy, nice-smelling mosquitoes
