  1. Studies of States with significant Civil Unrest often consist of underemployed and unemployed whose education. training, and experience lead to higher expectations than what is available. I believe that the Government is anticipating and preparing for civil unrest. Consider all the various armed forces currently in operation that essentially add up to a Police State.

  2. Also consider the frightful erosion of civil liberties in the cause of security. Authorization to detain without right to trial; authority to drone US Civilians,; highest rates of incarceration in the world; absurd latitude of authorities to prosecute; mandated jail terms; three strikes and out (which has resulted in long term or life imprisonment of individuals with minor and/or technical but not real offenses; and on and on. You wonder why bullets are being bought up by Gov't, why do you think?

  3. Do you realize that most cell phone calls are recorded and saved in a "central bank"? the information is not monitored but retroactive phone taps can review past calls. You think I'm crazy? Check it out.

  4. Oh I forgot to mention that historically civil unrest coincides with unemployment rates of 20% and higher.

  5. I would expect that Gov't would prepare for civil unrest. It's their job to anticipate and plan for all sorts of disruptions. They'd be remiss not to. But please don't dismiss me because "there's something wrong with me". I love debate, discussion, brouhaha, killcrushanddestroymetaphoriaclly. I need to keep my convolutions fresh so I can forestall senility.
