End of The Love Lock?

Paris, the city of love , is about to end  one of its ‘love  traditions.’  Couples have  been demonstrating their love by affixing padlocks with their initials on them  to the Pont des Arts bridge before throwing the key into the River Seine.  A million locks weighing 45 tonnes caused a partial collapse of the bridge.  The  city begins cutting them off on Monday.
