Jpr : saw me a 3 ft black snake curled in figure 8 on a sunny path behind me home. It was unresponsive to the presence of me dog as well as me self. Never saw the like. It seemed uninjured. Curled into a tight defensive ball when it was nudged. Flipped it into the near by weeds. Twas gone hrs later.
may have been ready to shed it"s skin if it seemed defenseless. we are rich in black snakes.
ReplyDeleteJust checked google...fungus killing snakes found in 16 states so far moving into eastern u s. This is bad news for echo systems
