In 1976 a priest followed a beggar to a cave at mountain side about 120 miles from Soul. The beggar called Grandpa Choi was the sole provider for 18 homeless unable to care for themselves.
Father john began providing for these folks. He founded the catholic program kkottongnae. Today over a million support this providing care for the indigenous world wide. Doesn't get the news but it's what the proper church do.!
They have 105 facilities in 14 countries at present
