Once, while leading a protection detail for Churchill's life long friend Sir Harold Wilson, one of my men had to carry a briefcase and be constantly within's arms reach of Wilson. Secret papers, medication, speech notes? Nope----a. bottle of Teachers Scotch. While standing at a urinal telling Churchill stories, Wilson mentioned that during the war Winston drank 2 quarts of brandy a day. He preferred Armenian.
